ARK's Premium One-Way Valve makes drinking easier by controlling the direction of fluid - fluid flows up into the straw, but does not empty back into the cup.Because fluid always stays at the top of the straw, less effort is required for each sip and less air is ingested. As a result, users tend to experience less coughing while consuming more fluids. The valve is easy to take apart, clean, and put back together.Highly recommended for individuals with oral motor difficulties, a weak suck, or problems generating and maintaining suction. Made in the USA out of stainless steel that will not rustAll parts can be boiled in water to ensure sanitary conditions Sold individually Compatible with most regular drinking straws measuring .25" in diameter
Measures just over 2 inches in length Included in the package is an extra (spare) stainless steel ball and washer Not recommended for carbonated beverages Recommended for thin liquids (water, milk, juice without pulp, etc).
This may vary by brand of thickener, but in general if you're using thickened liquids, "nectar" consistency works fine. "Honey" is a bit harder to suck through the straw, but it does work. "Pudding" does not work, as it's too thick to drink through even a regular straw without a valve. Caution: contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard; please supervise at all times.
The Twin pendant from ARK is the thinnest pendant (0.76 cm thick).
The pendant is smooth on both sides and is well suited for those who prefer to chew with the premolars and/or front teeth (for slimmer versions that reach the back molars, see ARK's Krypto-Bite, Brick Stick or Bite Saber).Ideal for improving concentration during certain activities such as homework. For sensory oral motor skills and/or as a safe alternative to chewing/biting on fingers, knuckles, shirts, pencils etc.The Twin pendants are available in 3 color-coded toughness levels: Standard / soft - This is the softest level recommended for light chewing. XT / medium - This is the medium level recommended for moderate chewing.XXT / hard - This is the hardest level, recommended for heavy chewing. Recommended from 5 years. The tags consist of 2 chewable “tags” and are sold with a breakaway necklace. The necklace measures approx. 96 cm in length and can be individually shortened. Please note: Due to its thinner shape, this is not the most durable chew necklace for heavy chewers. Not recommended for aggressive chewers. For most people, ARK's Dino-Bite is the longest lasting collar. Each pendant is medical grade, FDA compliant and contains NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA or latex. Each pendant is approximately 2.5cm wide, 5cm high and 0.76cm thick. Highly recommended for people with autism, sensory disorders, anxiety, ADHD, etc. or for people of any age who need to chew. Attention! This product is not a toy. The clasp and collar are not intended for chewing. Contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard - direct supervision required. Although these chewing tools are robust and durable, no chewing tool is indestructible. Due to their intended use, wear and tear is to be expected. How long they last usually depends on the amount and intensity of chewing as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress and anxiety levels, whether other sensory strategies are used, etc.). While for some people a chewing tool lasts forever, for others with severe/aggressive oral needs it can be used up very quickly. Please supervise the chew at all times and replace it if necessary when it shows signs of wear. The longest lasting chew ever is the Y-Chew XXT from ARK.

ARK's Bear Bottle Kit is a fun and friendly way to make drinking easier for beginners and/or children with oral motor difficulties. It's also an excellent way to transition babies straight from bottles to straw drinking - skipping sippy cups altogether! Many speech therapists believe that sippy cups can promote improper tongue positioning and an immature swallowing pattern, while straw drinking can help strengthen the mouth muscles and encourage tongue retraction, cheek tension, lip closure, and proper oral positioning. The Bear Bottle features a unique valve that controls the direction of fluid - liquid flows up into the straw, but does not flow back down. Simply squeeze the bear's belly until fluid reaches the top of the straw and release. Fluid will stay at the top of the straw, thereby decreasing the effort required to drink. Highly recommended for individuals who tend to aspirate or have a weak suck with difficulties generating and maintaining suction.Kit includes: 1 easy-to-squeeze Bear Bottle with a snap-close cap1 Select-Flow Valvestraws - 2 tubing straws1 yellow Lip Blok® These tubing straws are durable alternative to traditional straws, and the Lip Blok prevents kids from biting on the straw or putting it too far into their mouths.Product descriptionMade out of non-toxic, food grade materialsDishwasher-safe Holds 236ml of fluidBottle measures approximately 5cm x 6,3cm x 15,2cmColors may vary Not recommended for carbonated beveragesRecommended for thin liquids (water, milk, juice without pulp, etc).Compatible with most standard 0,63cm diameter straws Lid colors may vary.
ARK's Bendy Bite™ doubles as both a fidget and a chew!Chew it, twist it, bend it. Fold one arm inside the center circle and out the other side for a loop of fidgety fun (note: this works best with the standard and XT levels. It can also be done with the firmer XXT level but is more challenging!).At 8,9cm wide and 0,75cm thick, it's one of the thinnest handheld chews.
Use this oral sensory solution as a safe alternative to chewing on pencils, shirts, fingers, etc. and to help calm, focus, and self-regulate.Like all other ARK chews it comes in 3 color-coded toughness levels:Standard - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not chew through anything).XT / Medium Firm - This is the middle level, which we call XT ("Xtra Tough"). It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers.XXT / Very Firm - This is the toughest level, which we call XXT ("Xtra Xtra Tough"). This is the toughest level. Please note: Because of how thin this chew is, even the XXT level may not be a long lasting option for moderate to avid chewing. For more robust chews, check out the MEGA Brick Stick.Medical grade, FDA compliant, NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.
Recommended for ages 3 years and up. All ARK products are dishwasher safe, can be boiled, cleaned in aldehyde-free disinfectant, or simply washed with mild soap.CAUTION: This product is not a toy. Direct supervision required. Recommended for ages 3 years and up. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace at first sign of wear and tear.
ARK’s Jaw Grading Bite Blocks are a great complement to any oral motor tool box. Specially designed to work on jaw grading and stability, each arm has a different thickness to practice various jaw heights:The orange arms are 3mm and 6mm thickThe magenta arms are .7mm and 1cm thick The teal arms are 1,3cm and 1,5cm thick What is jaw grading and stability? Jaw grading is the ability to have controlled movements of the jaw to various jaw heights needed for speech and feeding skills. For example, note the difference in your jaw when saying “eee” vs “ahhh”. Or, imagine biting into a cracker vs a sandwich/burger. Your jaw has to open to different heights to accommodate those different sounds and foods. Jaw stability is the strength, coordination, and endurance needed to do so without the jaw sliding forward and/or sideways. Each Bite Block set comes with instructions including four exercises to help work on these skills. These Bite Blocks are firm for good resistance during jaw exercises, but not 100% rigid to be gentle on the teeth (for softer options to work on chewing skills, see the Grabber and/or Y-Chew). Each arm also has gentle sensory bumps to grip the teeth.medical grade, FDA & CE compliantNo BPA, PVC, lead, phthalates, or latexEach block measures 18,4cm long in total, with each "arm" measuring about 7,4cm long and 1,3cm wide. Dishwasher-safeSold in a set (1 orange, 1 magenta, and 1 teal)CAUTION: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times.
