The common cold and its consequences: The common cold is a common condition in infants and children, which your child "suffers" on average about six times a year. One of the biggest problems is when the nose is stuffy! Infants and toddlers are unable to clear their nose of secretions by blowing. Your child will have significant difficulty breathing, and your child's well-being will be greatly reduced. A nose cleared of secretions prevents common secondary diseases (e.g. middle ear infection), facilitates breathing during sleep, as well as at mealtimes, especially for breastfeeding and bottle-fed infants. The nasal aspirator does not replace a visit to your pediatrician, but supports you around the clock during your child's sniffles.

Easy as pie - The nasal vacuum is connected to your floor vacuum cleaner, a built-in wind trap converts the suction power into a gentle suction. Suctioning is done with HELP, not with the power of the vacuum cleaner! See for yourself, hold the vacuum to your cheek! If you are concerned about the proximity of the vacuum cleaner to the child, place it in front of the room door and lean the door as far as possible.

This may vary by brand of thickener, but in general if you're using thickened liquids, "nectar" consistency works fine. "Honey" is a bit harder to suck through the straw, but it does work.
