The LAX VOX® tube holder:
Laxvoxing made easy. The depth of the hose in the water plays an important role in laxvoxing, as it determines the water resistance. The LAX VOX® tube holder fixes the LAX VOX® tube at your optimum height in the bottle and thus ensures that the tube does not accidentally slip too deep into the water. This is particularly important for children and neurological patients who are unable to keep a constant eye on the tube depth.
The LAX VOX® tube holder is made of flexible foam and colour-coordinated with all our products. It can be easily stretched to allow the LAX VOX® hose to be inserted comfortably in the centre. The notch on the underside makes it easy to attach to a bottle neck with an internal diameter of at least 2.8 cm and a maximum external diameter of 4 cm. It is important that there is always a small gap through which the air can escape. If this is not the case, laxvoxing will be more strenuous. In this case, turn the tube holder upside down and use it without fixing it to the bottle.

This may vary by brand of thickener, but in general if you're using thickened liquids, "nectar" consistency works fine. "Honey" is a bit harder to suck through the straw, but it does work.
