Pieksis are generally dishwasher-safe, but they prefer running water and mild dish soap. Strongly pigmented foods (such as tomatoes, carrots, spinach, blueberries, and beets) may cause slight discoloration in the dishwasher. However, this does not affect their functionality. To prevent surface damage, we recommend not placing snack picks in the same compartment as metal cutlery in the dishwasher. Please also follow your dishwasher’s care instructions for plastic items.Sustainability & Materials:Pieksis are sustainable, made from over 94% renewable resources (glucose from sugarcane or sugar beets). The remaining 6% consists of approved organic additives, minerals, natural waxes, and dyes to ensure durability, usability, and vibrant colors.Due to the manufacturing process, slight color variations from the product photos may occur. They are BPA-, PVC-, and melamine-free. The packaging is made of recyclable polyethylene (LDPE) and can be disposed of in the yellow bag/yellow bin. It is also free from aluminum film.
