ARK's Premium One-Way Valve makes drinking easier by controlling the direction of fluid - fluid flows up into the straw, but does not empty back into the cup.Because fluid always stays at the top of the straw, less effort is required for each sip and less air is ingested. As a result, users tend to experience less coughing while consuming more fluids. ARK’s Jaw Grading Bite Blocks are a great complement to any oral motor tool box. Jaw grading is the ability to have controlled movements of the jaw to various jaw heights needed for speech and feeding skills. Your jaw has to open to different heights to accommodate those different sounds and foods. Jaw stability is the strength, coordination, and endurance needed to do so without the jaw sliding forward and/or sideways.
