Use ARK's Tongue Tip for your Z-Vibe® as a tongue exercise device to train lateralization and elevation. Instruct your patient to insert the tip of the tongue into the hole so you can gently move the tongue up, down, right and left. ARK's Premium One-Way Valve makes drinking easier by controlling the direction of fluid - fluid flows up into the straw, but does not empty back into the cup.Because fluid always stays at the top of the straw, less effort is required for each sip and less air is ingested. As a result, users tend to experience less coughing while consuming more fluids. ARK's Baby Grabber® (Textured) is just like the Baby Grabber but with added bumps and nubs for extra sensory input. Each Baby Grabber is designed to calm and soothe infants, who are in the early stages of development. At approximately 5-6 months, babies start mouthing and chewing in order to strengthen their mouth muscles and exercise their lips, tongue, and jaw. This oral exploration prepares them to eat solid foods and to make speech sounds later on. The Baby Grabber® provides a safe outlet for babies to develop these skills. It can also assist in self-organization, in the transition from puréed to textured foods, and in soothing sore gums. The Baby Grabber is smooth on one half and textured on the other half for varying sensory input and tactile stimulation to the gums and mouth. For orally sensitive little ones - start by presenting the smooth half and eventually progress to the textured half. ARK's Baby Guitar is a fun and functional way for babies and toddlers to mouth, chew, and sooth sore gums.The charming guitar shape is easy for little hands to hold, with a stem to reach the back molar area. The bumps and ridges on the stem resemble the strings/knobs of a real guitar, while also providing extra sensory input. ARK's Baby Guitar is just like the regular Guitar, only a tad smaller, with a shorter stem for smaller mouths. The baby guitars can also be precooled in the refrigerator.
