The ARK Textured Bite Tube is a hollow chew tool with a different diameter on each end. It offers a safe alternative to nail biting, chewing on shirts, pencils, or other objects. The textured surface adds extra sensory input, making it ideal for individuals who benefit from tactile stimulation in the mouth.

Use the Bite Tube in oral motor therapy to train jaw strength and stability.
Tip: Fill one end of the hollow tube with puréed food. This enables functional chewing and biting exercises without the risk of choking on solid foods.
The two different diameters are great for practicing different jaw opening widths. Because it's hollow, it offers less resistance than solid chew tools like the Grabber®, making it a perfect starter tool for individuals with limited jaw strength.

This may vary by brand of thickener, but in general if you're using thickened liquids, "nectar" consistency works fine. "Honey" is a bit harder to suck through the straw, but it does work. "Pudding" does not work, as it's too thick to drink through even a regular straw without a valve. CAUTION: Contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard; please supervise at all times.
