Invented by Angeliki Xygka, BSc / MSc, SLP and developed by ARK, the Squeezer Tips are oral motor tools specifically designed to facilitate biting skills and lip closure. The V shape provides resistance as you squeeze it - perfect for exercising the jaw and/or lips.
They're exactly the same as the proSqueezer set, but fashioned into tip attachments for the Z-Vibe® (Z-Vibe sold separately). The Squeezer Tip is available in three difficulty levels, sold as a set: magenta (easiest), yellow (medium) and orange (hardest). Start with the yellow Squeezer Tip and eventually progress to the orange one. The orange one provides the most resistance for increased difficulty.Angeliki is a speech and language therapist, myofunctional therapist, and SI therapist based in Athens, Greece with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Apraxia, speech and language delay, stuttering, feeding therapy, and tongue thrust therapy. Be sure to check out the video above where she demonstrates how to use these unique tools. An excellent addition to any oral motor tool bag!Logicana recommends: Use the ProSqueezer™ also as a training device for the tongue by placing the squeezer in the mouth so that the tip of the tongue and the upper incisors touch the squeezer. Make sure the jaw stays open and only the tongue moves upward. You can vary again, either repeat the tongue elevation rhythmically several times in a row or the exercise can also be done statically and the tongue held up.Exercises to work on biting skills:1. Place the proSqueezer in front of the mouth and ask the individual to bite down 5 times using the front teeth. Then bite and hold for up to 5 seconds.2. Place the proSqueezer in between the premolars to one side. Ask the individual to bite down 5 times. Then bite and hold for up to 5 seconds.3. Repeat on the other side of the mouth.Exercise to work on lip closure: 1. Place the proSqueezer in front of the mouth and ask the individual to squeeze the lips closed 5 times (using only the lips, no teeth). 2. Then ask them to squeeze and hold for up to 5 seconds.Caution: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times.Made in the USA, medical grade, FDA compliant

ARK's Y Tips are a great complement to any oral motor tool bag. Similar to the shape of the Y-Chew but fashioned into tip attachments for the Z-Vibe®, these tips are specially designed for jaw grading, jaw stability, lip closure, and sensory input.
Each arm has a different thickness. The orange tip's arms are 0,3cm and 0,5cm thick. The magenta tip's arms are 0,8cm and 1cm thick. The teal tip's arms are 1,3cm and 1,5cm thick. Each "arm" measures about 2,5cm long and 1cm wide. These Y tips are firm but not 100% rigid for good resistance during jaw grading practice, and each tip has gentle sensory bumps to grip the teeth. For softer options to work on chewing skills, see the Bite-n-Chew Tip.medical grade, FDA compliant
No BPA, PVC, lead, phthalates, or latexDishwasher-safeTo be used with any Z-Vibe® or Z-Grabber® (sold separately)Each tip is sold individuallyCaution: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times.Exercise ideas:FOR JAW GRADING AND STABILITY: BITE AND HOLD: Place the block in between the pre-molars on one side of the mouth. Instruct the individual to bite and hold for 5-10 seconds. Repeat on the other side of the mouth. Then repeat twice more on each side (3 total sets). TUG AND PULL: Place the block in between the pre-molars on one side of the mouth. Instruct the individual to bite down and sustain the bite for 5-10 seconds while you gently pull on the block for resistance. Repeat on the other side of the mouth. Then repeat twice more on each side (3 total sets).BITE AND OPEN/CLOSE: Place one of the thinner blocks (#1, #2, or #3) in between the pre-molars on one side of the mouth. Instruct the individual to bite down on the block. Then have the individual open and close the jaw 5-10 times looking for good jaw alignment and rhythmic movement. Repeat on the other side of the mouth. Then repeat twice more on each side (3 total sets).Which bite block thickness you use will depend on the individual's age and range of ability. With individuals who have low tone and a low jaw position for example, you’ll start with the thicker blocks and work towards the thinner ones. With younger kids, the thickest ones may be too large for them so you’ll start with #4 or #3. The goal is to work towards being able to use the thinnest (#1) bite block, as this requires the most refined movement and control of the jaw. FOR LIP CLOSURE: LIP AWARENESS: Gently press the center of the Y on the lips and hold for 3-5 seconds to provide sensory input to the full surface of the upper lip and help "wake up" the lips. Repeat on the lower lip. LIP STRETCHES (works best with magenta Y tip): Place the center of the Y just above the upper lip. Gently stretch the upper lip downwards until it makes contact with the lower lip. Then place the center of the Y just below the lower lip. Gently stretch the lower lip upwards until it makes contact with the upper lip. LIP SQUEEZES (works best with #1, #2, or #3 blocks): Place the tip of the block in between the individual’s lips, just inside the lips. Instruct the individual to squeeze their lips on the tip for 5-10 seconds. Move the tip towards the corner of the lips in small increments. Have the individual squeeze their lips around the tip at each interval for 5-10 seconds. Start with #3 and work your way towards using the #2 and #1 blocks for increasing difficulty.

ARK's Brick Tip is the coolest new Z-Vibe® accessory on the block! Its rectangular shape features large bumps on the front side and small bumps on the back side for varying sensory input.
The Z-Vibe® (sold separately) is intended to be used as a speech / feeding therapy tool to help teach the concept of biting/chewing skills, to increase oral awareness, to practice oral motor exercises, etc. To that end, most tip attachments for the Z-Vibe® are designed to be fairly small so that therapists can easily get into the mouth. And the chewing tip attachments are designed to be fairly chewy for individuals who have limited jaw strength or oral motor skills.
However, some people also use the Z-Vibe® as a calming/chewing tool for individuals with stronger chewing needs, and for that purpose they needed a larger and tougher tip attachment. So ARK's Brick Tip is the solution! It combines the cool-factor shape and durability of ARK's original Brick Stick chew necklace with the vibration of the Z-Vibe®. The Brick Tip is larger than the Probe or Bite-n-Chew Tip, while still being slim enough to reach the back molars. It's available in 3 color-coded hardness levels: Standard (Red) - this is the softest / chewiest level, recommended for mild chewingMedium Firm (Teal) - this is firmer, but still with some chewiness to it, recommended for moderate chewing Very Firm (Royal Blue) - this level is the most firm, recommended for individuals who like chewing on fairly rigid itemsPlease note: the Z-Vibe® and all Z-Vibe® accessories including the Brick Tip are therapeutic tools, not toys. Direct supervision is required at all times. Made in the USA, medical grade, FDA compliantNo lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latexEach tip measures just under 3" long
The main rectangular "body" of the tip measures approximately 2.2" long, .6" wide, and .4" thick. (a little bit smaller than ARK's Brick Stick Chew Necklace)Dishwasher-safeTo be used with either the Z-Vibe or Z-Grabber handle (sold separately)Each tip is sold individuallyCaution: this is a therapeutic tool and not a toy - it should be used under direct adult supervision at all times. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, nothing chewable is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long each tip lasts will be equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if/when necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear. For the longest lasting chew tool overall, see ARK's Y-Chew XXT.
