In myofunctional therapy, many things can be trained without tools. Sometimes, however, it is faster and easier to perform and guide certain exercises with therapy tools.
Above all, the fun and variety in myofunctional therapy is not neglected.
Invented by Angeliki Xygka, BSc / MSc, SLP and developed by ARK, the proSqueezer is an oral motor tool specifically designed to facilitate biting skills and lip closure. The V shape provides resistance as you squeeze it - perfect for exercising the jaw and/or lips.
The proSqueezer comes in a set of two difficulty levels: yellow (easier) and orange (harder).Start with the yellow proSqueezer and eventually progress to the orange one. The orange one provides more resistance for increased difficulty.Angeliki is a speech and language therapist, myofunctional therapist, and SI therapist based in Athens, Greece with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Apraxia, speech and language delay, stuttering, feeding therapy, and tongue thrust therapy. An excellent addition to any oral motor tool bag!medical grade, FDA compliant
No BPA, PVC, lead, phthalates, or latexEach tool measures about 19,5cm long and 3,3cm at the widest partDishwasher-safe (no drying cycle or added heat)Sold in a set (1 yellow and 1 orange tool)Also available separately as tip attachments for the Z-VibePatent pending Logicana recommends:Use the ProSqueezer™ also as a training device for the tongue by placing the squeezer in the mouth so that the tip of the tongue and the upper incisors touch the squeezer. Make sure the jaw stays open and only the tongue moves upward. You can vary again, either repeat the tongue elevation rhythmically several times in a row or the exercise can also be done statically and the tongue held up.Exercises to work on biting skills:Place the proSqueezer in front of the mouth and ask the individual to bite down 5 times using the front teeth. Then bite and hold for up to 5 seconds.
Place the proSqueezer in between the premolars to one side. Ask the individual to bite down 5 times. Then bite and hold for up to 5 seconds.
Repeat on the other side of the mouth.Exercise to work on lip closure:Place the proSqueezer in front of the mouth and ask the individual to squeeze the lips closed 5 times (using only the lips, no teeth).
Then ask them to squeeze and hold for up to 5 seconds.Caution: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times.Caution: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times.
In order to be well prepared for a frenotomy, it is advantageous if different professional groups work together. Speech therapists, body therapists (physio, osteo, cranio, etc.), physicians, etc. are usually part of a holistic treatment approach.
The guidance of the fascial system before and during the procedure, the essential preparation and follow-up by myofunctional therapy, as well as the procedure itself by the physician is equally crucial for success. This set is essential for the myofunctional therapy portion of the procedure, as the tongue elevation and lateralization tools, tongue measurement tool and Myospots make preparing and automating the tongue resting position a breeze.
The instructions for using the tongue measuring tool can be found here! The Frenotomy Set 2 consists of: Myospots StrawberryTalkTools® Tongue Tip Lateralization and Elevation Tool25 pieces of tongue measuring tool (synthetic paper-reusable)

Progress in myofunctional therapy, fascia therapy or frenotomy can be measured using the measurement tool. The relationship between the different measurement results provides information about the capabilities of the tongue.
This set is ideal for you if you treat patients from the 3rd birthday onwards before and after a frenotomy or if you also want to make the progress of myofunctional therapy (especially tongue mobility) measurable. The instructions for using the tongue tie measuring template can be found here! ARK’s proButton™ Set is a fun and engaging way to work on lip closure and lip strength, fundamental skills needed for proper speech and feeding development.Speech therapists have been doing a "button pull" lip closure activity with their clients since the 1970s by tying string through buttons. ARK's proButton set offers a safer, professional upgrade of that classic oral motor exercise - no more small parts or thin string to worry about! Each proButton™ set includes two double-sided handles for a total of four different “button” diameters. The yellow handle has buttons of 1,3cm and 1,5cm in diameter (labeled 1 and 2, respectively). The teal handle has buttons of 1,8cm and 2cm in diameter (labeled 3 and 4, respectively). Starting with the largest button that comfortably fits in the individual's mouth, place the "button" inside the lips (in front of the teeth). Have the individual close their lips around the button while you pull and do a gentle "tug and pull" motion for resistance. Eventually transition to the smaller diameter buttons as the individual progresses.Working on lip closure can help improve feeding skills, drinking skills, saliva control, speech sound production, and moreMedical grade, FDA compliant

Designed for those smaller mouths, ARK's Oral Motor proMini™ is a smaller version of our favorite Probe. It has a rectangular tip that is bumpy on one side, striated on the other, and smooth along the edges. These textured surfaces provide tactile input, awareness, and sensation. Use as an oral massage brush to stimulate the gums, palate, lips, cheek, and tongue by tapping, stroking, and applying gentle pressure. For individuals with oral sensitivities or aversions, start with the smooth sides, as they provide the least input. Then progress to the striated side, and eventually the bumpy side. You can also dip the proMini in foods for use as a "dipper spoon" in feeding therapy. This is an excellent tactic for beginning spoon-users and to introduce texture to puréed foods.ARK's proMini was specifically designed with safety in mind. ARK’s Jaw Grading Bite Blocks are a great complement to any oral motor tool box. Specially designed to work on jaw grading and stability, each arm has a different thickness to practice various jaw heights:The orange arms are 3mm and 6mm thickThe magenta arms are .7mm and 1cm thick The teal arms are 1,3cm and 1,5cm thick What is jaw grading and stability? Jaw grading is the ability to have controlled movements of the jaw to various jaw heights needed for speech and feeding skills. For example, note the difference in your jaw when saying “eee” vs “ahhh”. Or, imagine biting into a cracker vs a sandwich/burger. Your jaw has to open to different heights to accommodate those different sounds and foods. Jaw stability is the strength, coordination, and endurance needed to do so without the jaw sliding forward and/or sideways. Each Bite Block set comes with instructions including four exercises to help work on these skills. These Bite Blocks are firm for good resistance during jaw exercises, but not 100% rigid to be gentle on the teeth (for softer options to work on chewing skills, see the Grabber and/or Y-Chew). Each arm also has gentle sensory bumps to grip the teeth.medical grade, FDA & CE compliantNo BPA, PVC, lead, phthalates, or latexEach block measures 18,4cm long in total, with each "arm" measuring about 7,4cm long and 1,3cm wide.
